When this FingerPrint option flag is set, the host machine is queried for its BIOS date. Depending on the BIOS manufacturer, this is either the date the BIOS were last flashed or the date of the BIOS themselves. This value is physically stored in both hardware and software. The software storage is typically reinitialized when the machine re-boots.
