When this FingerPrint option flag is set, the host machine is queried for its BIOS version. Depending on the BIOS manufacturer, this is usually the name and version number of the currently installed BIOS. This value is physically stored in both hardware and software. The software storage is typically reinitialized when the machine re-boots.
