The SoftwareShield License Manager creates three types of files:

1. License Project Files - These files always have an ".lpj" extension.

2. Distributed License Files - These files are the compiled version of the License Project Files. They can have any extension (you specify it).

3. Programming Notes Files - These files are simple HTML documents that are created at compile time to help you integrate the compiled license into your application.

4. AXS Files - These files are optionally created by IronWrapping your program and choosing to embed a binary or data file outside of the host.

Note this does not include Alias Files, which are a special type of file used at run-time by the ClientProtector. Please read the section on Alias Files for more information.
