Getting Help

There are three main methods for getting help for the SoftwareShield System:

Pop-Up Help - Inside any SoftwareShield application, right click for a pop-up help window that will give you specific hints.
Context Sensitive Help - Inside any SoftwareShield application - press F1 and the help system will link to the page you need.
Tips - There are valuable tips that are displayed when you start the SoftwareShield License Manager Application.

This help system is divided up into the following main sections. You can identify which section you are in by the icon indicated at the top of every page.

	Developing Applications Using The SoftwareShield System	This section describes central important concepts. This section is a good place to start. It contains important Available License Model and Available Activation Method information.
	SoftwareShield System Feature Guide	This section is a reference of the primary features of the SoftwareShield System SDK . It describes in detail the features of the entire system. I.E.: What you can do with the system, and what it will do for you. Read this section when you have finished with the above section.
	CheckPoint™ License Server	This section is the reference guide for using the CheckPoint License Server. It describes how to use the CheckPoint License Server.
	SoftwareShield License Manager	This section is the reference guide for the SoftwareShield License Manager Application. It describes how to use the License Manager.
	SoftwareShield FingerPrint Viewer™	This section is the reference guide for the SoftwareShield FingerPrint Viewer Application. It describes how to use the FingerPrint Viewer.
	SoftwareShield COM-Activator™	This section is the reference guide for the SoftwareShield COM-Activator™. It describes how to use the component
	SoftwareShield ClientProtector™	This section is the reference guide for the SoftwareShield ClientProtector COM servers. It describes how to use the ClientProtector component.
	SoftwareShield Manual-Activator	This section is the reference guide for the SoftwareShield Manual-Activator Application. It describes how to use the Manual-Activator.
	SoftwareShield Web-Activator	This section is the reference guide for the SoftwareShield Web-Activator Application. It describes how to use the Web-Activator.
