Unlocking Demo Licenses

IMPORTANT STEPS FOR NEW OR UPGRADING SOFTWARESHIELD USERS.   
NOTE: This does not apply to you until you purchase or upgrade the SoftwareShield System.

If you do not complete this step - your SoftwareShield Activation Code Generators and the ClientProtector will continue to operate in demo mode (or your previous edition mode in the case of an upgrade).

After your SoftwareShield system has been unlocked by entering the Activation Code you received when you purchased the system follow the procedure below.

This procedure marks the licenses as unlocked.

  1. Open each license project in the SoftwareShield License Manager Application you need to unlock.  

    This includes any licenses you created while evaluating the demo as well as the sample and example licenses in the SDK (if you wish to use them).

  2. For each license:

    1. Do a "Clean Machine".

    2. Re-save the license project

    3. Recompile the license project.
