To set the Global Authorization Definition Password for your license, in the SoftwareShield License Manager, open your license project and click on the Authorization Definition Tab.  Then simply enter any password in the "Global Authorization Definition Password" edit box you like.

This can be any password you like, although we recommend that it is over 6 characters and contains come combination of numbers, characters and punctuation.

You can click on the Random Password button  to randomly generate a unique password.

You can clock on the lock-field button to lock the field from accidental editing when working in a team environment.  Clicking on the button again unlocks the field.
