Test CheckPoint™ Server License File

Testing the CheckPoint server license file invokes the CheckPoint server to use the uploaded license details to try and locate the physical license project file on the server.  This is useful during a deployment so that you can quickly simulate the exact process the CheckPoint License Server will go through when performing a Serial Number Code Exchange and it needs to load the license project file.

To test the license file (location on the server) first make sure you have deployed the license project file (LPJ) to the server correctly.  Then, make sure that the relative license project fine-name path is set correctly on the server for this license.  Then, simply click the "Test that the CheckPoint server can locate the license project file (*.lpj) you specified" button:

The CheckPoint server will use the relative file path you had previously uploaded to determine if it can locate the physical license project file (LPJ) in that location (relative to the checkpoint.dll).
