The System FingerPrint Options Tab is the tab on the License Project Properties dialog where you define which machine specific binding mechanisms to bind to (if any) in your license. To get to it, open a license project file in the SoftwareShield License Manager and click on "System FingerPrint Options". Note that the tab will not appear unless the "FingerPrint All Activation Codes" check-box is checked on the License Behaviour Tab.

You can individually enable or disable all 23 flags.  You can also quickly select or de-select all of the FingerPrint options by clicking the buttons at the bottom of the page "Check All" and "Clear All".  If you already have a FingerPrint Options Code (a decimal number between 0 and 8388607) you can directly enter this number in the FingerPrint Code box and the corresponding flags will be automatically selected.

The FingerPrint code shown (the decimal number) is used in code in your client application to start up the ClientProtector.  This code will also be output into the Programming Notes file when you compile your license.

Note that a FingerPrint Code of zero (0) corresponds to no flags set and  therefore effectively does not use FingerPrinting.
