Overriding A Shelf-Life


When generating Activation Codes with the Manual-Activator, if a Shelf-Life is applicable to the specific type of definition you are working on, you have the option of overriding it and changing it to a different number of days. A default Shelf-Life will already be assigned in the Shelf-Life control on the dialog.

If you want to change the Shelf-Life for an Activation Code you issue, simply check the Override Shelf-Life check box and enter the new Shelf-Life.

You may make the code have an indefinite Shelf-Life by overriding the it and setting it to zero. This option will only be enabled for Authorization Definitions which give the option of a Shelf-Life. Most Authorization Definitions default Shelf-Life of 10 days.
