Entering Customers Authorization Request Codes


Inputting customers Authorization Request Codes into the SoftwareShield Manual Activation Code Generator is easy. Once you have connected to the CheckPoint server successfully and you have entered the customers valid Serial Number, simply copy and paste or type in the users provided Authorization Request Code into the edit box "User Authorization Request Code".

Sometimes it is helpful to know the exact format of the code if the user has made a mistake in transcribing it.

Format Of Authorization Request Codes

  • All Authorization Request Codes are exactly 19 characters long, made up of 4 groups of 4 characters separated by 3 dashes.
  • All Authorization Request Codes use only hexadecimal characters. E.g.: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, and F.
  • All Authorization Request Codes are case insensitive.

Once you have the customers Authorization Request Code, simply paste it into the edit box. If the Authorization Request Code is the correct format, you will see a valid message appear in the area to the right of the edit box as in the image below:

 

If you or the customer must communicate Serial Numbers, Authorization Request Codes or Activation Codes  over the telephone, it is a good idea to use the phonetic alphabet to avoid errors.

2D5F-2EC5-1829-07F7 // OK
3033-F437-622A-31D3 // OK
F891-8AEA-BE08-9F4A // OK

Example Invalid Codes:

2D5F2EC5182907F7 // dashes are required
3033-K437-622A-31D3 // 'K' is not a valid character
F891-8AEA-BE08 // the code is too short
