Technical Support Subscription

Full technical support and regular updates are provided for our clients who have a valid, current Technical Support Subscription. All new purchases come with a 30-day Technical Support Subscription included. Annual subscriptions are available. Please note that the IronWrap Edition comes with 365 day Technical Support Subscription included.

Included with Support

  • We provide support in the use, deployment, integration, installation and even general understanding of the SoftwareShield System, its applications and tools, including the interfaces that any of our run-time components expose to your applications and deployment and calling of our web-server applications and licenses.
  • It includes all Service Pack updates and bug fixes free of charge
  • It includes any version Upgrade (of your edition) free of charge, if your Support subscription is valid and current.

Support Hours of Operation:

You are entitled to contact our technical support representatives during your support period via phone, or email regarding the use of the SoftwareShield System and any of its components. Note that for maximum speed and efficiency you should use our email support address.

Telephone calls to technical support are generally handled between 9:00am - 5:00pm Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Canadian National holidays are observed.

International customers are strongly urged to contact us by email for prompt feedback.

Excluded from Support:

  • We do not provide support or instruction in how to use your particular language or IDE to accomplish simple programming tasks. This includes linking to and creating COM objects, compiling your projects source code using your IDE, web-programming (or development of shopping-cart systems) or other development projects outside the scope of our control. Please contact your IDE manufacturer or a local educational institution if you require help in their use or need programming instruction.
  • Product Edition Upgrades. It does not include upgrading to an escalated or different edition of SoftwareShield. However, active Subscribers will receive a discount price if they wish to migrate to “higher” edition of SoftwareShield.
