As the name implies the Manual-Activator™ must be operated by you or one of your staff every time you need to issue an Activation Code to a paying customer. Since the Manual-Activator™ is a separate application from the License Manager, generating Activation Codes is easily be done by one of your support staff. Your staff member must collect the Authorization Request Code and possibly a Serial Number from the customer. The Manual-Activator™ operates in either off-line mode or CheckPoint (online) mode to allow you to generate Activation Codes in the way you require. Once you are familiar with how to operate the SoftwareShield Manual-Activator™ - the whole process takes as little as 15 seconds. The free trial version of the SoftwareShield System comes with the Manual-Activator™ so you can try out generating Activation Codes. Example programs are also provided so you can generate Activation Codes for them. Alternatively, you can even test generating Activation Codes for your own application. |
