The System FingerPrint Options Tab is the tab on the FingerPrint Viewer where you define which hardware binding mechanisms to bind to (if any) when generating a FingerPrint for the hosting machine.  You will notice that this tab is almost identical to the System FingerPrint Options Tab in the SoftwareShield License Manager.  The flags all correspond to the exact same FingerPrint elements. This tab is shown below:

You can also quickly select or de-select all of the FingerPrint options by clicking the buttons at the bottom of the page "Check All" and "Clear All".  If you already have a FingerPrint Options Code (a decimal number between 0 and 8388607) you can directly enter this number in the FingerPrint Code box and the corresponding flags will be automatically selected.

Note that a FingerPrint Code of zero (0) corresponds to no flags set and  therefore effectively does not use FingerPrinting. However, a FingerPrint can be generated for a zero options code, it is just that the print is identical for every single machine.

When testing, simply enter your FingerPrint Options Code in the edit box, or use your mouse to select all the appropriate flags.  You can also enter any pre-prended FingerPrint String if you are using that feature.  Once you have all the flags set correctly, you can switch to the Viewer FingerPrint Output Tab to see what this combination will produce.
