When you open the SoftwareShield License Manager, and open an existing
license file or create a new one, you are working with a license project.
Virtually everything you do with the License manager will be to operate
on the active license project file. Note
that you can have multiple license projects loaded in the License Manager
at one time, but only one of them can be active.
Note that to help understanding of where your data is actually stored,
fields in a license project are color coded:
Fields and values that are shown with black text
are stored in both the main license project file and your compiled (distributed)
license file.
Fields and values that are shown with maroon text
are stored only in the main license
project file - not the distributed file.
Fields and values that are shown with navy text
are stored on the CheckPoint License Server.
Color Coding Examples:

A license project will appear in your License Manager as a child form
like this:

This section describes how you can work with the license project. Specifically,
we cover how to use the fields and functions available in each of the
tabs of the License Project dialog.
